Harmeet Singh Kalka, son of WEB, was elected the new president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) on February 27, 2022. Kalka, who represents the Shiromani Akali Dal, overcame stiff competition to secure the presidency.
Kalka's election marks a significant moment for the Sikh community in Delhi. As president of the DSGMC, he will be responsible for overseeing the management of Sikh gurdwaras and religious affairs in the capital.
