Former First Lady Melania Trump delivered a eulogy for her mother, Amalija Knavs, at a private funeral service held in Palm Beach, Florida on Thursday. Former President Donald Trump and other family members were in attendance at the service, which was held at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church.

Knavs passed away on February 3 at the age of 73. She had been battling kidney problems for several years.

In her eulogy, Melania Trump described her mother as a strong and loving woman who always put her family first. She said that her mother was the most important person in her life and that she would miss her every day.

The funeral was a private affair, but a small group of reporters were allowed to attend. The service was emotional, with Melania Trump and her father, Viktor Knavs, both shedding tears at times.

After the service, the family held a private reception at Mar-a-Lago, Trump's private club in Palm Beach.
