Princess Laurentien, born Petra Laurentien Brinkhorst on May 25, 1966, is the wife of Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands and the sister-in-law of King Willem-Alexander. She married Prince Constantijn on May 17, 2001, and their marriage was blessed on May 19, 2001.

Fight Against Illiteracy
Princess Laurentien is an outspoken advocate against illiteracy, particularly among women and children. She established the Princess Laurentien Foundation in 2004 to promote literacy and early childhood education programs worldwide.
